2019 Camp NAWIC
On June 19, Buckeye Ready-Mix, along with Corna Kokosing, hosted “Camp NAWIC.”
This was the 2nd annual summer camp put on by The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Columbus Chapter.
It is geared toward female middle school students with the purpose of giving young women a fresh outlook on the construction industry and to show them what a career in construction could be.
While at BRM, they toured the plant, observed a slump & air test, and watched a cylinder break in the lab.
